What is Dosel?

Dosel is an AI-powered desktop application that automatically changes your passwords across multiple websites. Instead of manually logging in and navigating settings menus, our AI agent does it for you.

How does it work?

The app uses AI browser automation to:

Open your browser with your existing session
Navigate to the account settings page
Find the password change form
Generate and enter a new secure password
Save the change and report back

The AI sees the website structure but never sees or stores your passwords in any way that could be transmitted externally.

Which websites are supported?

Dosel works with most websites that have standard password change flows. This includes:

Major email providers (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo)
Social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn)
Shopping sites (Amazon, eBay, Target)
Streaming services (Netflix, Spotify, Disney+)
Banking and financial sites
And thousands more

Some sites with unusual security measures (like heavy CAPTCHA or hardware key requirements) may require manual intervention.

Does it work with two-factor authentication (2FA)?

Yes! The app handles common 2FA methods including:

Email verification codes
SMS codes (if visible in browser)
App-based authenticators (you'll be prompted to enter the code)

Is there a free version?

Yes! Dosel offers a free tier that lets you change up to 5 passwords per month. No credit card required - just download and start using it.

How much does it cost to change passwords?

The free tier includes 5 password changes per month. For unlimited password changes, we offer affordable subscription plans - see our pricing section for details.

Are there subscription plans?

We offer optional subscription plans for users who need to change many passwords regularly. Visit our pricing section for details.

Security and privacy

Where are my passwords stored?

Passwords are only stored in memory during the password change process. They are never:

Saved to disk
Sent to external servers
Stored in logs
Visible to the AI

After each session, passwords are securely cleared from memory.

Does the AI see my passwords?

No. The AI sees website structure and navigation elements but passwords are injected directly into form fields without being included in the AI's context.

Is my data encrypted?

Yes. Any temporary data is encrypted using AES-256-GCM. CSV imports are encrypted at rest using keys stored in your macOS Keychain.

Compatibility

What operating systems are supported?

Currently, Dosel is available for:

macOS 12 (Monterey) and later
Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3) and Intel Macs

Windows and Linux versions are planned for future releases.

Which browsers does it work with?

The app uses your existing Chrome browser profile, so you stay logged in to your accounts. Chrome must be installed on your system.

Can I use my existing password manager alongside this?

Absolutely. Dosel is designed to work alongside your existing password manager:

Export passwords from your current manager
Use Dosel to change them
Export the new passwords and import them back

This workflow lets you keep using your preferred password manager while automating the tedious password change process.
