Welcome to Dosel! This guide will help you install the app, import your passwords, and change your first password using AI automation.
What you'll accomplish
By the end of this guide, you'll have:
- Installed Dosel on your Mac
- Imported passwords from your current password manager
- Changed your first password automatically
Step 1: Download and install
- Visit the download page and click Download for macOS
- Open the downloaded
.dmgfile - Drag Dosel to your Applications folder
- Launch the app from Applications
Note: On first launch, macOS may show a security prompt. Right-click the app and select "Open" to bypass Gatekeeper.
Step 2: Import your passwords
Export passwords from your current password manager as a CSV file. The app will guide you through the import process.
From 1Password
- Open 1Password desktop app
- Go to File → Export → All Items
- Choose CSV format and save the file
From Bitwarden
- Log in to your Bitwarden web vault
- Go to Tools → Export Vault
- Select CSV format and download
From LastPass
- Log in to LastPass web vault
- Go to Account Options → Advanced → Export
- Save the CSV file
Then import into Dosel:
- Click Import passwords
- Select your CSV file
- Review the imported accounts
Step 3: Change your first password
- Select an account from your list
- Click Change password
- Watch as the AI navigates to the website and updates your password
- When complete, the new password will be shown
The app generates strong, unique passwords for each account.
